Bang! Bang! Bang!....
Four hours have passed and I still believed that someone invisible was hammering my head. This headache was one of those few which sucks energy from each and every part of your alive muscle. Its about time when you wake up from a well interrupted sleep. It is the time when you moan for a cup of tea and a newspaper beside your bed. Bang! Bang! again... You come into reality with the next hit of hammer ramming your head. You realize that a hot cup of bed-tea and a newspaper are luxury to someone living thousands of miles away from home. With a lot of concentrated effort, I push myself to go and pick the newspaper from the neighbour's room.
This is what all the Indians do. We know the day will be normal if we see a page full of rape, murder and molestation incidences. Politics and Cricket are the added spices in our Indian curry.
Something was different today. Probably its the pain in my head, or something in the newspaper... or both. I could see a professional blend of politics and cricket. A certain Harbhajan vs. some Symonds. Bhajji was dropped of charges and fined just 50% of the match fee.
May be thats another end of racism chapters for Indians. Why are people so afraid of racism? Why do we have to politicize each nook and corner of a cricket stadium? Why do we feel offended when a dumb actress calls Ms Shetty a dog? If all the people around the world are busy in cutting each others necks by racism, what is so special among us Indians?
Is it the mental masturbation that we like? The bliss of enjoying useless politics in every issue. Yes it is. Internally we like to swear at others. Its okay with us to shout "saale kutte" in the public, but not okay when someone from other skin-color calls us dogs. Same goes to the arrogant Australians. They like molesting their ladies in pubs and discs. They use the "fuck" word in every third breath they take, but are completely intolerable when someone from a dark skin calls them monkey.
People around the globe behave the same racist way. Why cant we take racism as just another way of love? Love for the belonged, love for our countrymen, love for ourselves, our skin. Loving our fellows to such an extent that we consider them as the best. Why cant we take this lightly?
Answer is simple. We cant take it lightly because of politcians. They are everywhere, active or inactive. Not only in bureaucracy but everywhere. They wear the same uniform as we do. They sit and eat with us. There is only one way to identify them.. They are half human, half demons and complete bastards.
